one has to buy full pass for the UK Dance Congress which
price now is £95. ( Kazouk can sell it for £80, ps email me)
Level: advance( amateur)
and professionals ( dancers who earn money
with dance, teachers and performers).

Choreography
Depending on numbers of
competitors, eliminatory will be with music

Zouk S.E.A competition in Malaysia 8 10 August 2014.

There will be 2 types of competition; Zouk SEA
Championship (Showcase Routine)
and also Jack & Jill. Zouk SEA Championship (Showcase Routine Competition) - minimum 5 couples required for the competition to be on - student level competition; professionals are not encouraged to compete - showcase routine to be between 2.5mins - 4.5 mins max - Song of your choice and required to have audible zouk beats or recognizable as a valid zouk song - remix or unremix song is acceptable - lifts and tricks are allowed; no limit on the number of lifts - proper costumes are required - need to register latest by July 15th 2014 - registration fee of RM50/couple is required Jack & Jill Competition
- random partners in the Jack n Jill rounds and random songs - will be judged individually and not in pairs - costumes are encouraged but not a requirement - can register on the day itself before counter closes - registration fee of RM10/pax is required - top 5 male and female will be chosen for the Finals - Final round will feature competitors on their own (not in groups) with partner

HAMPIONSHIP REGULATIONS - Lets see what it would take, it may be new era for you.
Zouk Championship will be in held in two categories:ZOUK AMADOR: couples dancing zouk more than 6 months (intermediate level).ZOUK PROFESSIONALS: ZOUK teachers and couples dancing zouk more than 2years (advanced level)Zouk AMADOR contestants compete in format of IMPROVSATION (free dance and a compulsory program). Zouk Professionals compete in format of improvisation and a show (free dance and routine).
This summer in August 7-12 the Northern Russian Pearl St Petersburg will host the III INTERNATIONAL RUSSIAN ZOUK CONGRESS & CHAMPIONSHIP 2014! For the 3rd time zouk dancers from all over the world will gather together in Saint Petersburg to share the sparkling energy, new impressions and passion for zouk at the BIGGEST CONGRESS of russian zouk scene
The Competition Stracture are as follows.
The Championship consists of 4 stages:
Warm-up – warm up dance. All participants. 3 min★1 stage Zouk Amador. Qualifying.Improvisation. Free dance to unknown music that is a mix of two zouk songs (slow and fast) that last 4 minutes. Maxim number of participants on the dance floor -10. During the Qualifying 5 best couples with the highest score pass to Final.
★2 stage Zouk Profissional. Qualifying.Improvisation. Free dance to unknown music, that is a mix of two zouk songs (slow and fast) that last 4 minutes. Maxim number of participants on the dance floor -10.During the Qualifying 5 best couples with the highest score pass to Final.
★3 stage Zouk Amador. Final.Compulsory Program. Improvisation to unknown music for 4 minutes with obligatory performance of Zouk Elements (the list of zouk elements is ready soon).Prepared in advance zouk combinations are allowed. It is allowed to do one lift. The list of possible zouk songs will be on an official web-site, vk.com page and Facebook page 1 month before the Championship.
★4 stage Zouk Profissional. Final.Zouk – routine. The max. length of the routine is 3 minutes. It is allowed to perform dance elements and figures from other dances (modern, contemp, hip-hop), BUT no longer than 1 min. of a routine (zouk part should not be less than 2 min). It is recommended to do lifts and tricks. It is allowed to use props.
